There are a lot of gorgeous jewellery boxes out there.  Of course, the traditional kids jewellery box is pink with a turning ballerina inside.

Even jewellery made for children is usually fragile and/or small and can get lost or broken easily.  Children should be shown early on how to properly care for and store their jewellery.  Besides, it is always wonderful to have a special place to keep your treasures, whether you are a child or an adult!  Having a jewellery box helps keep jewellery sorted, protected and dust-free.  It’s a good idea to get children into the habit of taking care of their precious pieces.

Children’s jewellery boxes differ from grown-up boxes in that they have larger clasps, may have more appealing decors and are specially made to hold child-sized pieces of jewellery.  Some have music integrated into them and kids really love this!
